4. Shorter vertical tail needed to fit in hangar deck
5. Incredibly complex (double slotted flap, vanes, rotating-nose slats, rotating glove)

6. Swing wing for lower TO and landing speeds (heavy, expensive, failure prone)
7. Side by side seating, to have a shorter airplane to fit on the deck
8. Rotating weapon pylons for swing wing.
