importで頭が混乱してきました

sample0.pyのimport sample2で、sample2内のsample1がimportされると思ったのですが
結果、importはされませんでした
そう判断したのは、sample0→sample2でのsample1のimportで
printもされず、BASEのランダムも生成されなかったからです

これは、sample0.pyでsample1をすでにimportしているので
sample2内のsample1のimportは省略というか、
sample0でのsample1のimportを引き継いだ
みたいなことでいいのでしょうか・・？
