He’s pounding the chord and the track is playing descending notes.
There’s no question this guy could play the song perfectly, it’s just that this is a prop piano and the music track already has fake piano on it, it’s the same track Eric uses every night.
Sad they couldn’t rig up a real keyboard and actually let the guy play it.
