a staff member at the Battleship Iowa Museum asked a bunch of 1980s US Navy vets what they thought about
the Kancolle/Pacific/Warship Girls R designs of the Iowa, and they all unanimously agreed that if the Kancolle version had existed then she would be pasted all over the ship

筆者曰く
「現時点で各擬人化ゲームに登場するアイオワを、80年代にアイオワ乗組員だった軍人たちに見せたところ艦これのアイオワが断然人気だった(オタ文化に接点が無い人も含む)」
だったとのこと

「現役時に艦これがあったら絶対に艦のマスコットにしてた」
ってのは面白い…



やはり本場物の汚染力は格が違った・・・
