Acting Director of National Intelligence
Joseph Maguire today issued
the following statement:

“The Office of the Director of National Intelligence remains
focused on leading the Intelligence Community (IC) and
providing critical information in support of our nation’s security.
“I am honored that the President has chosen me to serve as
Acting Director of National Intelligence and humbled to
follow in the footsteps of Dan Coats, who, working in
partnership with Sue Gordon, led the IC through
some of the most dynamic global challenges our nation has faced.
I look forward to working with my colleagues across the IC
to counter the threats of today and
posture the community for the future.”
