Wii DVDtools Released
Reading and writing to the Wii's DVD drive is now possible with the release of Erant's dvdtools.
I'm finally ready to release 'dvdtool'.
Dvdtool is a utility that allows you read and write from the Wii's DVD drive,
but also inject code into the interrupt handler thread (ON THE DRIVE, not in the Wii itself).
The readme should be pretty self-explanatory.
The code is still a little rough around the edges,
so I won't be releasing that for now,
but you can still have fun with the tool itself.

modにフラッシュメモリが積んであって、USBなどで外部からの書き込み（アップデート）が出来るタイプが出たら即買う
凶箱のxbitみたいな半田なしのネジ留めだけで逝けるやつだと尚善し

新しいライティングソフト買おうかと思うのですが、
ゲームのバックアップ用だと、なに買っておけばいいのでしょうか？
一昔前だと、CloneCDが主流だったと思うのですが、
いまは何が流行なのかちょっとわからなくて。
バックアップするのは、DCのソフトですが、一応、Wiiも視野にいれています。

おれはプレインされてたRecordNow!ってのを使ってる。
PS2やPSやPCゲームやDVDのISOデータを何枚も焼いたが、問題なし。
イメージ保存もできるが、プロテクトがある場合はこれでは剥げないけどね。
付属のがあれば、それで十分じゃないかな。

イメージファイルとして保持しているなら、それにはプロテクトがないだろうから、
どのライティングソフトでも書き込める。
吸出しに関しては、ほとんどのゲームディスクにはプロテクトは掛かってない。
まぁ、おれが知っている範囲ではPSとPS2くらいかなぁ。
最近のPCゲームや、DVDは吸い出せないけどね。
GCやWiiは規格が多少違うのでそのままはでは吸い出せない。（ソフトと言うか、ほぼドライブ依存）
プロテクトを解除して吸出しするソフトは、フリーでいろいろあるし、
まず市販品では売ってない。てか、売っちゃいけない。（著作権法や不正競争防止法とかで）
