GBIの飛行コースはブースト、慣性飛行、終末誘導の3フェーズに分かれていて、ブースターが燃え尽きると
慣性飛行フェーズに入りその間は制御なしで予想迎撃点に向かって飛ぶとはっきり書いてある
恥をかかせてやろうと思って意気揚々と乗り込んだら無様に返り討ちにあったのを意地でも認めたくないんだろうけど
